The 54th International Conference on Great Lakes Research will be held on the shores of Lake Superior, in Duluth, Minnesota, the world's busiest freshwater port.

A great program is in store with plenary talks on Lake Baikal, African lakes and invasive species, plus more than 35 scientific sessions. Explore large-lakes research that crosses borders, disciplines, temporal and spatial scales. Get up to date on Great Lakes science and policy, addressing areas as diverse as ecology, limnology, habitat, fisheries, invasive species, contaminants, climate, and water quality, as well as the vital intersections of these topics.

bbe's will be holding a seminar/workshop on fluorescence measurements during the conference provided by Managing Director Christian Moldaenke, Tim Doyle of PP Systems, US and Nigel Newing of Environmental Analytical Systems, Canada.
