AquaLife 2006
After the successes of previous years we followed up on the new concept and held the AquaLife 2006 workshop from September 12-14, 2006 at the Kiel Innovation and Technology Centre (KITZ).
Topics of Aqualife 2006 were:
- monitoring in limnic and marine waters, EU WFD
- toxicity assessment
- chemical and biological parameters in water monitoring/sensors
- aquaculture
- monitoring networks
- international co-operation
There were guest from Austria, France, the Netherlands, Israel, Japan, Korea and Singapore.
The presentations covered the use of early warning systems, water security, risk management and bio-monitoring instruments in Germany, the Netherlands and around the world.
