We would like to inform our valued customers and partners that the PhycoSens analyser is temporarily unavailable from our product portfolio as it undergoes further development and advanced field testing by the R&D team at bbe Moldaenke.
As many of you know, the PhycoSens is an enhanced version of our best-selling online algae analyser, the AlgaeOnlineAnalyser (AOA). It features additional LEDs and photodetector, enabling it to simultaneously detect more algae classes. This analyser was specifically developed to provide high-sensitivity detection of unbound phycocyanin released from cyanobacterial cells during disinfection or any stress in ecosystem.
Currently, as part of our ongoing development efforts, we are working on expanding the PhycoSens capabilities to detect dinoflagellates alongside diatoms—a significant step forward in multi-class algae monitoring. These enhancements are currently undergoing rigorous laboratory and field testing to ensure the highest level of reliability and performance (EU project “Ultfarms”)
Once all testing phases are successfully completed, PhycoSens will be reintroduced as part of our offered solutions.
