The FluoroProbes and PhycoProbes now have the 10-pin Subcon connector as standard, which was previously only used for the titan version.
The new (included) accessories only fit the 10-pin connector (it can not be used for the previous versions of FP/PP).
The most significant change is to the data and power supply:
- There will be a new adapter (Data and Power Adapter - DPA) that attaches directly to the FluoroProbe.
- The power supply, data cable (USB) and USB stick will be connected to this.
- Because of this new data and power adapter, the measurement cables will also need to be slightly adapted - they will be fitted with Subcon connectors (10 pins) at both ends.
- Another advantage is that the new adapter has Bluetooth as standard, so there is no need for a separate Bluetooth adapter.
The new accessories are only suitable for the new version of the FP III and PP (from series 29).
The underwater cables now have a 10-pin Subcon connector on both ends, which means that the new cables will not fit older FP/PP and older cables will not fit the new FP and PP accessories (power supplies and adapters).
